For a commercial or industrial painting project to really last, the process has to start with in-depth surface preparation. You may have old coatings, corrosion, and other contaminants, and a basic wash and sanding often won’t do the trick. While some painters might take the easy route and coat right over it, that’s not how we work at PR Painting.
This is where media blasting comes in.
Picking from a variety of media (material) options, we can choose the perfect approach for your surfaces. After containing the space, we “blast” anything and everything that’s in the way of your fresh paint or coatings, restoring a clean, solid substrate.

Blasting is a strong word, but don’t worry: the process is totally contained, safe, and eco-friendly (many of the materials we use are recyclable). We can even blast very delicate surfaces and components just by adjusting the media and approach we use.
